Why Bosch Repairs Require Specific Expertise
Bosch appliances are excellent quality, but they’re also different from American brands in meaningful ways. Bosch dishwashers use a condensation drying system instead of a heating element — which is why they use less energy, but also why you need to know how they actually dry dishes before diagnosing a “not drying” complaint. Bosch washers use a different drum bearing configuration than Whirlpool-platform machines. Getting Bosch diagnostics right requires knowing how the machine is supposed to work, not just what part failed.
We see a lot of Bosch dishwashers in the Fargo market specifically because they’ve become the go-to brand in new construction around West Fargo, Horace, and South Fargo neighborhoods built in the last 10–15 years. Many of those machines are now at the 7–10 year mark where first failures start appearing.

What does the E24 error code mean on my Bosch dishwasher?
E24 indicates a drain error — the dishwasher isn’t draining fast enough. The first thing to check is the filter assembly at the bottom of the tub (a two-part mesh and coarse filter that should be cleaned monthly). The second is the drain hose connection to the garbage disposal or sink drain — a kinked hose or high-loop issue can cause E24. If those are clear, the drain pump may be failing. We can diagnose and fix this same-day in most cases.
My Bosch dishwasher shows E15 — what happened?
E15 means water has leaked into the base tray of the dishwasher, tripping the anti-flood float switch. The machine locks out until the tray is dried and the float resets. You’ll need to remove the dishwasher and tip it slightly forward to drain the tray. We can do this service call and also find and fix the leak source so it doesn’t recur.
Why don’t my Bosch dishwasher dishes come out dry?
Bosch uses condensation drying — no heating element. Dishes dry from the heat stored in them at the end of the hot wash cycle, aided by rinse aid which breaks the water surface tension. If you’re not using rinse aid, dishes will be wet. Plastic items will always be somewhat wet with condensation drying. If dishes were drying before and stopped, the heating element may have failed.
How much does Bosch dishwasher repair cost in Fargo?
Most Bosch dishwasher repairs run $120–$280. Pump and motor assembly replacements are at the higher end. The $75 diagnostic is applied toward your repair.
